Description
Autism and ADHD are widely misunderstood. I can help with understanding, whether you are looking for support for a child, a family seeking parenting guidance or are an adult who needs a safe space to work on your goals. As an AuDHD person myself, I offer a strengths-based approach to learning about our sensory needs and evidence informed practices for dealing with anxiety and depression. I offer support to 2SLGBTQ+ community members and am polyamory supportive. Additionally, I specialize in counselling with those who wish to engage in trauma work for folks who have experienced complex traumas.

Thriving Families Counselling
Summary
Social relationships, school difficulties and mental health impact children and teens which can lead to behaviours that are difficult for parents to understand and respond to. At the same time, today's parents are dealing with their own life stressors including parenting, work, relationships, supporting aging relatives and their own mental health concerns that can further impact positive family functioning. Whether in our office in Kitchener or virtually across Ontario, we help you better understand your emotions, manage stress, improve relationships, navigate grief, and cope with life.
