Ruth has over 20 years’ experience and specialized training in Family Systems Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Triple P Parenting, and Collaborative Problem Solving. Ruth’s experience includes: Providing individual therapy to adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, sexual identity issues, self-harming behaviour, and suicidal ideation Counselling and supporting parents of young people on domestic violence, separation and divorce, and bereavement Providing counselling to seniors & their families for grief/loss, transition into LTC and end of life

The Family Enhancement Centre is a mental health agency dedicated to helping people maintain a state of wellness for themselves and their families, improve and learn new strategies for dealing with difficult times, and recover from serious setbacks and traumas in their lives. We work from a strength-based perspective, looking for solutions to help people move on from their problems. Established in August 2005 in Brampton, The Family Enhancement Centre now has 4 locations in Southern Ontario offering individual, couple, family and group counselling.
