Elissa is an experienced, dedicated, and compassionate social worker. She has spent her career supporting her clients in dealing with whatever difficulties they may be facing in their lives, and in helping her clients to develop coping strategies to improve their situations. An integral part of her therapeutic approach is to share her observations and thoughts with clients, in order to help them gain insight and establish goals and coping mechanisms. The Family Enhancement Centre is a mental health agency dedicated to helping people maintain a state of wellness for themselves and their families, improve and learn new strategies for dealing with difficult times, and recover from serious setbacks and traumas in their lives. We work from a strength-based perspective, looking for solutions to help people move on from their problems. Established in August 2005 in Brampton, The Family Enhancement Centre has grown into a full-service counselling centre offering individual, couple, and family therapy with 5 locations in Southern Ontario & online.
