Description
Allie provides feminist, decolonizing, and empowering counselling approaches. She identifies as an Indigenous woman and uses the Braided approach. Also, she blends traditional healing methods with mainstream therapies and aims to help Indigenous survivors. In addition, Allie is a child and youth counsellor. She has experience working with children and families. She works from a whole-family perspective. Furthermore, Allie provides counselling for women’s issues. She has worked with domestic and sexual assault survivors, healthy relationships training, and post-partum support.

The Family Enhancement Centre is a mental health agency dedicated to helping people maintain a state of wellness for themselves and their families, improve and learn new strategies for dealing with difficult times, and recover from serious setbacks and traumas in their lives. We work from a strength-based perspective, looking for solutions to help people move on from their problems. Established in August 2005 in Brampton, The Family Enhancement Centre today has 4 locations (Brampton, Mississauga, Orangeville, +) in Southern Ontario offering individual, couple, family and group counselling.
