I am a Toronto-based trauma therapist specializing in working with BIPOC, immigrant and refugee women experiencing trauma, depression, or anxiety issues. I have over 27 years of professional social work experience, primarily in mental health. My main area of interest is examining the impacts of structural, psychosocial issues on trauma and mental health of BIPOC women. I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities into my clinical practice including: Feminist Intersectionality, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
