Description
I have worked with children and youth in the school system since 2002 and have extensive experience with youth, families, supporting LGBTQ2+ individuals, educational systems and structures, and neurodiversity. It is important that clients mesh with their therapist. Each therapist is as unique as the clients they meet. It is incredibly important that the client feels comfortable and safe when in sessions with me. This requires open dialogue and communication. Reaching out is the first step.

Summary
Online Only. As a therapist, I want to build understanding from the perspective of the client as each person holds a unique story that has shaped their experiences. Therapy is a partnership based on a safe, trusting, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I approach therapy from an affirmative, holistic perspective, working to understand the lived experiences and unique stories of each individual. I believe gaining an awareness of the sociocultural context of individual worldviews is crucial in understanding the diverse needs of each individual and building a safe, trusting environment.
