Description
Joy comes to our team holding an undergrad in Psychology from Laurentian University and a SSW Diploma. She is in good standing with the OCSWSSW. Joy has worked in a variety of roles supporting individuals in all walks of life, but has a strong passion for working with teens and young adults struggling with life adjustments and emotional challenges, as well as individuals struggling concurrently with mental health and addictions. Joy’s perspective is down-to-earth, client centered, and takes a holistic approach. She is trained in DBT and Solution Focused Therapy, among other modalities.
