I've been a social worker for 14+ years, with a passion for child, youth, and family development. 11+ years of my career have been in a counselling role. This has included therapeutic work with children, youth, and parents (both voluntary and mandated individuals). I currently work at VCH in a youth concurrent inpatient program. The variety of past counselling roles has provided me with extensive knowledge of mental health, addictions, ADHD, FASD, trauma, parenting, and family dynamics. My approach is strength-based, client-centred, and compassionate.
