Description

I have worked as a clinical social worker for 18 years. During this time, I have gained an understanding of people's resilience and their ability to change. I've witnessed how individuals can overcome or learn to cope with various challenges they face. However, I have also seen some people get stuck and continue to struggle with traumas, negative experiences, and negative beliefs. Nevertheless, I firmly believe people are capable of change and can learn to move beyond these difficulties. This can be achieved by establishing a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and empathy.

A Calm Place Counselling

Summary

I utilize various therapeutic approaches, but my primary focus is on EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). This technique is powerful for addressing past traumas and negative beliefs by helping individuals process memories and experiences to reduce emotional distress and associated negative beliefs. I'm here to support you in dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or any other challenges. I aim to create a safe, supportive, and empowering space for you to develop the skills needed to reduce emotional distress.
