Akanksha aims to provide a therapeutic environment free from judgment and facilitates growth and understanding. Akanksha’s approach is interdisciplinary and collaborative; she seeks to understand clients’ perspectives and, in partnership with clients, develop solutions to facilitate healing by incorporating individual strengths with diverse therapeutic methods. She recognizes that there is no “one size fits all” solution; all clients have different needs.

Summary

The Family Enhancement Centre is a mental health agency dedicated to helping people maintain a state of wellness for themselves and their families, improve and learn new strategies for dealing with difficult times, and recover from serious setbacks and traumas in their lives. We work from a strength based perspective, looking for solutions to help people move on from their problems.

Established in August 2005 in Brampton, The Family Enhancement Centre today now has 4 locations in Southern Ontario offering individual, couple, family and group counselling.
