Description
Janet is a clinical counsellor/psychotherapist (C.C.C.). She has a Masters of Counselling Degree. She has also been a Registered Nurse for 16 years and has specialized in mental health support for her patients. Janet provides individual counselling support to youth and adults – she also works with couples. Her areas of expertise include clients who struggle with addictions, anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship issues. She uses a variety of different modalities within her practice including Somatic Experiencing Therapy, and EMDR trauma treatment.

Summary
Tacit Knowledge offers Neurofeedback Services AND individual and couples counselling to teens and adults. Our 3 highly trained Therapists are located in Beaumont, Sherwood Park and Edmonton. We offer both in-person and online sessions; and we provide therapy subsidy options through the Beaumont FCSS Program and our Tacit Subsidy Program. Tacit also provides Support Group Programs; Professional Development Training options; community based MH Workshops; and a weekly MH article featured in a number of newspapers across Canada, called "Dear Tacit" (you can also find these on our website).
