Description
I am a psychotherapist, coach and mental health researcher in the field of neuroscience. My clinic specializes in individual and couples relationship issues, anxiety, perfectionism and perinatal mental health. We will explore why and how you became the person you are today. I promise you it’s not your fault, but a result of habitual strategies you once used to protect yourself when things were tough (our brains work harder to help us to detect and avoid this pain). Through self-exploration and new emotional experiences, we will work together to help you to become who you want to be.

Summary
Our responses to suffering, how we try to protect ourselves to avoid future pain, can leave us feeling stuck, disconnected, and anxious. Together, we will work to chip away at these accumulated layers and begin to articulate a more comfortable way of being in the world. I provide individual and couples therapy to help shift away from the restraints of criticism, shame, resentment, anxiety and hopelessness that can create rigorous negative cycles. Specialties include couples therapy, relationship issues, perfectionism, codependency and general anxiety.
