Providing both Virtual and In-Person Services (Spadina & Bloor; High Park and Bloor). Emphasis given to the Therapeutic Relationship, Trauma-Informed & Culturally- Sensitive Approach as the primary demographic I serve have a complex history of trauma, abuse, and/or neglect, particularly in their childhood. Depending on the clients needs or preferences we take on either a bottom up approach (healing the nervous system states through Polyvagal Theory) or Internal Family Systems Theory (Part's Work/ Inner Child Healing). Or a top down approach (CBT & DBT).

Taking on a trauma-informed, feminist, and progressive approach emphasizing the role of self-compassion, reparenting, and reframing of thoughts in attaining relief of symptoms and self-efficacy both during and beyond sessions. With particular attention given to how our body and nervous system store and sustain the negative impacts of trauma, as well as how our narratives and perspectives about our experiences shape or hinder our capacity to heal. Specialty in trauma-informed, BIPOC and Culturally-Sensitive care.
