I believe that principles of respect, care and knowing are of fundamental importance during your change journey. Helping you feel safe will be an essential part of our therapy work together so that you can share and tell your truth. Telling your truth can help you become more curious about your anxiety, fear, shame, despair, loneliness, powerlessness, meaninglessness or any experience or emotion that feels difficult. Some of my preferred treatment approaches are: Existential Humanistic, Relational Gestalt, Emotion Focused Therapy, Trauma Therapy – Loss and Grief & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

- Farah is a registered psychotherapist and holds master’s degrees in psychotherapy as well as in education & business administration. She trained as a psychotherapist & counsellor in Melbourne and as an educator in the US. Farah has more than 5 years experience in the mental health field. She is also currently in her 5th year of training in Gestalt Therapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto.
