In 2017 she was registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and joined CBI Health Group in Belleville Ontario in January 2018 in their work rehabilitation programs. In 2020, in addition to her client work with CBI, she took on a role mentoring other psychotherapists in the network at CBI. As a Psychotherapist Maria has helped individuals identify limiting beliefs and outmoded coping mechanisms.

Summary

Maria Zimmerling graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Law. After graduating from University, Maria went on to work in the leadership development field alongside Organizational Psychologists. Here she developed her coaching and technical skills. During her tenure in leadership development and organizational psychology, Maria gained an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of the importance of an individual’s mindset in determining their success.
