I identify as a migrant of colour, practicing an Intersectional, Integrative, just approach to therapy that affirms the many dimensions that one holds, and bring to the therapeutic container as an individual (body, mind, and spirit), as part of a collective (community, family, etc.) and as part of/ impacted by many systems of power (social location, privilege, disadvantage, etc.). I support with feeling stuck, shame, repeated patterns, bullying, exploring gender, and sexual identity, relationships, boundaries, communication, parenting, affirming one's child's gender/sexuality, and more.

My name is Caro Ibrahim and I am a migrant of colour living on this land, Turtle Island. I honour the land and the peoples of the land where I live and call home. Cultivating an understanding of myself, the multiple intersections that hold me, developing self-awareness and recognizing historical and present systems of disadvantages and privileges informs my therapy container and the interventions I engage as I journey with my clients. I see the therapeutic journey as a commitment to reclaiming self-care, attending to old scars, healing new wounds, and building healthy relationships.
