Description
As someone who grew up within an East Asian cultural context and later pursued academic and clinical training in Canada, I bring a lived understanding of the tensions and richness that come with crossing cultural, linguistic, and generational boundaries. I’m especially attuned to the quiet forms of struggle that often affect members of the Asian diaspora, graduate students, researchers, and LGBTQ individuals—feelings of not belonging, pressure to achieve, identity conflict, and the burden of unspoken expectations. My practice offers a space to explore these complexities without judgment.

Summary
I work with individuals and couples who are navigating emotional difficulties, relationship struggles, identity questions, and the impact of past experiences. My approach is grounded in the belief that therapy is not just about managing symptoms, but about understanding the whole person—their inner world, history, and unique way of being. In our work together, I offer a thoughtful and attentive space where deeper patterns can come into view, and lasting change can begin to take root.
