Within that time, Jennifer has over a decade specializing in addictions and mental health counselling. Summary
My lived experience, extensive education, and nearly two decades in the field serves to compliment how I show-up in session. I have a genuine passion in supporting first responders; those struggling with mental health and/or substance use/misuse/addiction; significant others impacted by addiction and/or mental health; and relational challenges within family systems and work place environments. My client-centred therapeutic approach is eclectic as I draw from various evidence-based modalities all of which are grounded in harm reduction and trauma-informed care.
