Therapy is done in partnership, this working relationship has a defined purpose, that being to examine the issues that you bring to therapy. It is important that you listen to your own voice and challenge me when necessary. Therapy is not about giving up your power to a therapist. Throughout therapy I am collaboratively assessing and evaluating sessions to meet your treatment goals. Therapy often leads to better relationships, solutions to specific problems, and a significant reduction in feelings of distress. It can be truly transformative when you and your therapist are a good fit.
