Description
Are you looking to reduce and understand feelings of anxiety or depression? Do you want to learn coping skills or ways to better manage your day-to-day? Is it important to you to feel heard in a space just for you? Are you facing life changes or transitions that you’d like support with, or finding clarity around? Have you had experiences that are weighing on you, or have felt traumatizing? Do you feel lost and want clarity around who you are? I work with adolescents and adults to understand how the past impacts the “now” and how to move forward in a way that feels good.

Facility: Fika Mental Health

Summary
We built the idea for this practice around the Swedish notion of a "Fika Break" where one takes time to pause, nourish, and socialize, within their day. We live in a society that often asks us to get distracted by our past experiences, the fast-paced present, or an urgency towards future goals, and we forget to give ourselves permission to take a break for our whole selves. As a practice, our clinicians value patient care first - this means that your online counselling will be guided by your goals and needs.
