Nida has extensive experience working clients to address anxiety, complex trauma, depression, postpartum depression, and relationship issues. In working with couples, she helps to improve communication, de-escalate conflict, change problematic interactional cycles, and resolve emotional injuries, as well as accept, understand, and connect with each other in a loving, nurturing way. Working from a culturally sensitive space, Nida understands the role of acculturation and its transgenerational impact on a person’s worldview and sense of self. She utilizes techniques from CBT, DBT, and EFT.
