Description

Shelley Kavanagh is a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Art Therapist with 20+ years of experience working with young people challenged by emotional and behavioral dysregulation. She is a Consultant with the Toronto District School Board, The Child and Youth Advocacy Centre and numerous community-based agencies. Shelley works with children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, are engaged in self-harming behaviors and have difficulties managing their anger outbursts. She uses multiple modalities to support the development of a strong alliance with adolescent clients.

Summary

WELCOME to the Centre for MindBody Health (CMBH). We are a team of psychologists, social workers, and psychotherapists who offer individual, couple, family and group therapies. The co-directors of CMBH are Dr. Shelley McMain and Dr. Shari Geller, both Registered Clinical Psychologists, and recognized authorities in the fields of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. We are committed to continuous training and are constantly working to improve our skills.
