Danielle works from a psychodynamic perspective, drawing on Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP) which aims to help people explore the underlying cause of their troubles and the dynamics that keep them stuck. She is also accepting couples and works from the model of Psychobiological Approach to Couples Counselling (PACT). PACT is grounded in developmental neurobiology, attachment theory and interactive regulation. Using this model, she helps her clients become better attuned to each other by noticing and bringing to the surface patterns of relating that are automatic.

Atlantic Dynamic Psychotherapy Group was created by Dr. Marcel Peloquin and Ms Danielle Comeau in 2022, so they could provide psychological services to patients ethically and equitably. We are dedicated to improving our psychotherapy skills through supervision and review of sessions to ensure the highest quality of care possible. We are LGBTQIA+ friendly and accept people of all genders and sexualities. We specialize in dynamic psychotherapies such as Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT), and cognitive and mindful therapies.
