Summary

We all experience difficulties with loss, relationships, past trauma, & other life stresses. In response to these challenges, sometimes our thoughts, emotions and actions lead to anxiety, depression and other ineffective ways of coping. I have over 30 years of clinical experience working with substance use, mental health issues & other difficulties. When someone reaches out for support, they demonstrate great determination, hopefulness and personal courage to share in their private concerns. Making changes can involve focusing on personal values; learning and practicing new coping strategies.
