Affirming counselling services for queer and trans people by a queer and trans person. My lived and professional experience allows me to effectively attend to many ways of being that are not always respected and understood by the wider society, including queerness, neurodivergence, ethical non-monogamy, and parenting in structures outside of the hetero nuclear family. My position as both a trans person and a parent lends me a unique ability to attend to both the needs of trans youth and the concerns of the parents who support them.
