I strive to create an environment where the people that I meet with feel safe to explore their experiences without judgement. We will work together to achieve your goals for counselling. You are the expert on your experience therefore, I take a collaborative approach in therapy. I work together with you to build on your strengths, draw on your resources, and to develop new ways of approaching life's challenges. I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidality, grief, work/school stress, goal setting and relationship difficulties using evidence-based approaches.

Summary
Edmonton psychologists Dr. Janice Dicks and Dr. Holly Whyte are the founders of YEG Psychology. Dr. Dicks and Dr. Whyte met during the first year of their doctoral program in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta. They took almost all of the same classes and by the third year of the program, they became the best of friends. It was through sharing many similar personal and academic experiences that a foundation for not only a friendship but future colleagues emerged.
