Registered Provisional Psychologist, Edmonton AB I believe that exploring thoughts, emotions and behaviours will help to uncover the tools needed to overcome the difficulties faced in life. I offer a non-judgmental approach and place emphasis on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship to ensure that you feel supported and understood while we explore your roadblocks. My counselling style is based on providing a genuine, warm, and compassionate atmosphere with a splash of humour (when appropriate!) to help you reach your goals. Summary
Edmonton psychologists Dr. Janice Dicks and Dr. Holly Whyte are the founders of YEG Psychology. Dr. Dicks and Dr. Whyte met during the first year of their doctoral program in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta. They took almost all of the same classes and by the third year of the program, they became the best of friends. It was through sharing many similar personal and academic experiences that a foundation for not only a friendship but future colleagues emerged.
