Description
Dr. Svoboda has significant experience assessing and treating individuals with persistent symptoms following concussion, chronic pain or unexplained symptoms, adjusting to chronic illness or injury, and providing rehabilitation to those with acquired brain injury. She further works with individuals challenged by anxiety, stress, insomnia, depression, OCD, trauma, or who would like to work on assertiveness, healthy boundaries and personal development. Her approach is eclectic (drawing on various evidence-based approaches), empathic and client centered.

- Dr. Svoboda obtained her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Toronto, specializing in clinical neuropsychology and cognitive neuroscience. Her pre-doctoral clinical internship was completed at Baycrest hospital in clinical psychology, neuropsychology and cognitive rehabilitation. She completed further post-doctoral clinical training in these areas and also in rehabilitation psychology. Dr. Svoboda is a registered psychologist and member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Ontario Psychological Association.

We work with individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, stress, chronic pain, adjustment to chronic illness/injury, life transitions, and personal growth. As neuropsychologists we are further dedicated to supporting individuals with concussion, acquired brain injury, ADHD, age-related memory changes, and dementia, as well as their caregiving family members. We recognize that few of us fit in one box. We rely on an eclectic approach, drawing on various evidence-based therapies or interventions, to work with your individuality and personal goals.
