Dr. Syan approaches treatment with respect and empathy for her clients and enjoys working collaboratively to identify and make progress towards achieving therapeutic goals. She is deeply invested in using evidence-based methods and a trauma-informed approach to assist clients in improving their quality of life. Dr. Syan primarily draws from the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, and tailors therapy to her clients’ individual needs by incorporating Motivational Interviewing and mindfulness-based interventions as indicated.
