Description
Dr. Lazar offers assessment and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a range of difficulties, including depression, schizophrenia and psychosis, and anxiety, with particular interests in generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia and social anxiety disorder. Dr. Lazar is a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CACBT), and is certified in the provision of CBT. He takes an evidence-based, non-judgmental, empathic, and client-centred approach to his practice in order to suit the individual needs of each client.

We currently offer both in-person and virtual (i.e. videoconferencing and telephone) sessions to support you through your challenging times. We provide evidence-based and effective psychological treatment, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among others. We aim to provide clients with a safe and comfortable and collaborative environment in which to help you explore and resolve your current difficulties in a manner consistent with your goals and values.
