Description
I think a lot about balance because it encapsulates what I try to help people achieve through therapy. People are often focused only on what is going wrong. But it's equally important to pay attention to what's going well and what your strengths are. As much as change is important, I also try to balance that with acceptance, including accepting the moment exactly as it is. Finally, while I believe the work I do is both serious & important, I try not to take it or myself too seriously. Humour and empathy are key. I work with older teens, university students and adults.

Summary
Most people see our therapists for anywhere from 6 – 20, 1-hour sessions, depending on the nature and severity of the issues they are presenting with. All of our treatments for children, teens, adults, couples and families are supported by research and are applied collaboratively, meaning that our psychologists and counsellors strive to work together with you, as partners, to get you where you want to be. We see anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, return to work issues, and family and couples issues most often.
