Description
Dr. Katherine Holshausen is a Registered Clinical Psychologist, having completed her Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Queen’s University. She completed her residency at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton, where she provided assessment and treatment services to adults, specializing in mood, chronic emotional difficulties, and complicated trauma presentations. Dr. Holshausen’s primary theoretical orientation is cognitive behavioural integrated with mindfulness, principles of dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT).
