I am constantly amazed at the resilience we all show, as we navigate our lives amidst the challenges that invariably arise! I explore change on individual and systemic bases – both approaches are often beneficial. As a former police officer, and a mother to 3 children with some exceptional needs, I understand how tough life can get…and how we can find the “tough” within ourselves to “get going” and prevail! Welcome to Pinnacle Psych! Kathleen Kelava is a Registered Psychologist, providing counselling and assessment services to children, youth, and adults. Her areas of specialty include: depression, anxiety, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, OCD, trauma, substance use, and Tourette’s Syndrome. She offers a “tough-love” approach, in which her clients are met with an empathetic stance, and are encouraged and supported to step outside of their comfort zones and prevail! Kathleen also conducts comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, exploring clients’ cognitive, academic, and mental-health profiles.
