Description
My intent is to offer you a safe space for your experiences to be heard and understood. You may be feeling misunderstood, alone, overwhelmed, or just plain tired of explaining yourself to others and yourself. My hope is that your unease can be untangled and, together, we can create a roadmap toward relief from just surviving and toward thriving. I believe that no two lives are the same. I approach my work from a person-centered, strength-based lens to center your needs as we navigate through obstacles toward a smooth and satisfying life.

Summary
We believe that many mental health disorders and diagnoses are reactions to underlying issues such as trauma, grief, or systematic oppression, rather than innate. While some mental health disorders are biological in nature and innate, for many people, symptoms develop as coping strategies. If we address the underlying issue, we can address the need for those coping mechanisms. We create space to understand people and their stories by looking beyond symptoms and diagnoses. We provide counselling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.
