Description
I very much enjoy my work as a clinical psychologist, and have developed three areas of specialization with adults: 1) general mental health (e.g., depression, anxiety) or more challenging problems (e.g., PTSD); 2) Rehabilitation Psychology (returning to work, finding more meaningful work, managing pain better); and 3) couple therapy (focus on attachment and emotions). With couples, I also include a focused intervention that helps each partner develop the ability to better express his/her feelings and needs. This approach has been very helpful over the years.

Facility Information
Isorropia Psychology Centre

Summary
Based on observing many clients struggle to resolve their personal and interpersonal problems, as well as having a strong orientation for solving problems, I have come to the view that psychological imbalance is very common in people experiencing mental health challenges. Consequently, I have named my clinic Isorropia Psychology Centre, with the Greek word “Isorropia” meaning balance, equilibrium, stability. Similarly, Eleanor Roosevelt once incisively wrote: “To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart.”
