Hendrika enjoys working with individuals of all ages to provide a safe space to care for internal processes that affect everyday life and what matters most. Some areas of counselling Hendrika has experience in are: self-esteem and self-worth, sleep, communication, boundaries, building a sense of identity, relationships, past trauma and/or abuse, anxiety including social anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and phobias, ADHD, burnout, anger, stress, and grief. Hendrika uses empirically supported approaches including mindfulness and relaxation, Cognitive and Behavioural tools, and gentle exposure techniques.
