Carlisle completed her Master of Counselling through City University of Seattle. She is excited to continue her journey toward becoming a registered psychologist. Carlisle’s practice currently focuses on various primary concerns including complex trauma, anxiety, grief and loss. She takes a person-centred approach, and draws from dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Carlisle is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and she has also incorporated equine assisted therapy into her practice.
