Description
Shelly started out in a community mental health setting and worked for the Durham District School Board for the past 10 years. She is experienced in providing psychological assessments as well as individual counselling with children and adolescents. She uses a client-centred and strengths-based approach to her treatment, drawing from a variety of modalities including Mindfulness therapies, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Shelly has also served as an Adjunct Clinical Supervisor for the School and Clinical Child Psychology Program at OISE/UT.
