Description
My training and work have been in schools, community agencies, and correctional settings, in the comfort of my own office and virtually, at a distance. I am client-centered in my work, supporting those facing challenges or distress to make sense of their experiences and to emphasize their values and aspirations in the choices and changes they make to improve their lives. I use empirically-supported strategies, including CBT and ACT. I believe that, while we share common ground, each of us has unique experiences and that listening is an essential ingredient in therapy.
