Summary
The CPBS clinic is based on the scientist-practitioner model that utilizes evidence-based practices by various theoretical orientations. Psychological services also integrate numerous treatment modalities that are dependent on the individualized needs of the client (i.e., CBT, DBT, play therapy, mindfulness, solution-focused, collaborative problem-solving, EFFT, PCIT, family systems). All cases are examined and formulated through a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed lens using Bronfenbrenner’s ecological systems theory and the interdisciplinary biopsychosocial model.
