Katie is passionate about empowering her clients with tools to reach their full potential through relationship-first services. With comprehensive training in child development, assessment, intervention, and consultation, she understands the importance of taking a family-centered approach to care to build lasting, trusted relationships with the clients and families that she works with. Katie has a strong clinical background in counselling and psychoeducational assessment. She is trained in and primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques in her approach.

- Katie Hewitt has a Master of Science in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary and completed her practicum at the Calgary Board of Education and UofC’s Integrated Services in Education clinic. Her provisional training was completed under the supervision of Dr. Kanciruk.
- Katie received her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Family and Child studies from the University of Guelph.
- Katie also has a graduate certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science through Seneca College.
