Description
My philosophy of counselling is strongly influenced by my Christian worldview and my motivation to help others. I draw primarily from Person-centered, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and existential therapeutic approaches. In my practice I work with youth and adults to treat depression, anxiety, past trauma, relationship conflict, career change, and other life transitions. An overarching theme of my practice is working alongside clients to help them gain a greater sense of meaning and purpose in their lives.
