Joanie graduated with a Master’s in Physiotherapy from the University of Montreal in 2011 and completed a Short Graduate Program in Perineal and Pelvic Rehabilitation in 2014. She earned her PhD in physiotherapy in September 2020, studying the effects of pelvic floor exercises on perineal symptoms of menopause, yielding promising results. Throughout her PhD, she worked at a private clinic and research center, focusing on women with pelvic floor issues. She also lectured at the University of Montreal on urinary incontinence assessment and treatment.
