Shirley has worked in both the hospital and private clinic settings. She believes strongly in the importance of building good rapport and having a full understanding of her patient as a person. In addition, she values education, prevention, and self-sufficiency.
After experiencing a hand injury and surgery herself, she developed an interest for hand therapy. Since then, she has become a Certified Hand Therapist, and continues to develop her knowledge and skills in the area of hand therapy.
