Description
Originally from Newfoundland, Maria came over to Nova Scotia in 2016 to complete her Master’s Degree at Dalhousie. She is passionate about helping people initiate a healthier and happier lifestyle and thus the Wellness Initiative was created! As a pelvic floor physiotherapist, Maria believes no mechanical dysfunction should go undiscussed no matter how sensitive in nature the issues appear. Maria has particular interest in everything related to pregnancy, and loves to help empower women to prepare for their birth with knowledge of the biomechanics of labour and delivery.
