Description
** CURRENTLY ON LEAVE ** I was born and raised in the Fraser Valley to a Canadian father and Trinidadian mother. I spent much of my childhood as a competitive dancer, and I dealt with back pain and other injuries that have affected me as an adult – this made me value physical therapy and its ability to provide and restore physical mobility and independence. My own experience of injuries and rehabilitation lead me to pursue a career in physiotherapy, to gain a further understanding as to why these injuries occur, and how to prevent and heal them.
