Tom has a keen interest in sports medicine and has developed expertise over the years as an elite athlete himself. He bases his practice on scientifically proven facts, and he hopes one day to contribute to his profession by carrying out research. He is co-owner of the Physiomentum Sports Medicine Center and has helped cover several sporting events, including some with the Canadian Soccer Association (CSA) and the world cheerleading championships.
