In-person visit
In my case, the issues I have are not complex or difficult to treat, it just takes time and consistency. But while I received my initial consultation from the physical therapist, the last 3 visits have just been a high tech massage from his student, with him not checking in at all. I have nothing against his student for, but she is not experienced enough in client interaction to actually help me much with my care. She does her job well so far as the operation of equipment, but she shows very little by way of initiative to ask me questions or follow up.
