Description
Born and raised in Victoria, Melissa grew up leading an active lifestyle, developing a keen interest in learning about the body and studying movement. After attending the University of Victoria, she worked as a kinesiologist at Neuromotion Victoria and MOVE Adapted Fitness and Rehabilitation Society of BC. In 2015, Melissa moved to Scotland and completed her Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh, and is now back at Neuromotion working as a physiotherapist. Melissa is a certified Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) therapist.

She was assisting us to use the patients stationary bicycle and electric tricycle. The problem of being unable to turn the pedals stem from a case of eosinophilic fasciitis. The results of this intervention may lead to some effective improvement over the next year.
