Sophie is a physiotherapist who emphasizes evidence-based practices. She treats the body as a whole to provide relief to specific problem areas, and aims to provide each client with the tools to heal or cope with their ailment. As a former research assistant with a Master’s degree in microbiology, she was drawn to physiotherapy because of its marriage of physical manipulation with intellectual thinking. She is an intermediate level myofascial therapist, level 1 Manual, Pelvic and Acupuncture therapist. Sophie also has certifications in movement therapy, TMJ and vestibular treatments.
